May Work Party (May 24th thru the 26th - Memorial Day Weekend)
The weather is improving and it's time to spruce up the site.  Generally, this is a gathering of club members who don't mind volunteering the weekend to improve conditions at the site.

Here's our work itinerary;
    General cleanup of the site
    Replace missing or tattered windsocks
    Remove starthistle in the Buttonhook LZ and clear any bushes that have returned since last year.

This work party occurs annually and is open to any club or individual who wants to help.  Flying won't be interrupted and those who help receive a current 'Friend of the Rim' sticker!  For more details and how you can help, email here.

This annual event occurs the 3rd Saturday of every July.  Lots of fun, games and great food.  It's not a long weekend but if you can make it you'll find flying conditions great (as usual in the summer) and you will be supporting a great cause.  Can't say for sure how many pilots will be here but you won't be alone, that's for sure.
