Hat Creek Hereford Ranch Campground and RV Park is the Crown Jewel of the area and only seven miles from launch! It has huge shade trees, great camp sites (some grass!), hot showers, fishing, swimming, games, children's playground, washers and dryers, small store, wonderful hosts, and it's just down the road from Fireside Village. All of this comfort for a reasonable price. If you hope to find an available camp spot during any of the major summer holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July or Labor Day), call 530-335-7171or visit their web site weeks in advance. Other than the major holidays, securing a nice camp spot should be easy, but calling in advance is still your best bet.

Many pilots use sites 75 thru 80, they are mostly grass. Site 59, 60 & 62 are outstanding sites too and right near the small lake. See campground map
