Are the Shasta Sky Sailors really quitting at the Rim? We prefer to call it retiring and yes, at the end of 2015, and 40 years of development and involvement, we are officially done. BTW, if at the time we approach the end of our current permit there is nothing in writing from the FS to show a seamless transition will occur - we will simply renew our Use Permit to insure the site remains open to the public.
